Biography

Birthmarks is a band from the land of Baltimore, Maryland USA formed in 2009 . First starting as a solo project by Jacob Seaton. As he started writing music, the desire for other instruments drove him to acquire other musicians. As the project progressed, it evolved from a solo project with a back up band to a collaboration of collective like-minded friends and family fueled by love, light, and each other. Their first full length album, Get Used To It, is a culmination for 2 years of writing, recording, and finally projecting onto the world. Get Used To It was mostly self recorded and produced. Although, a good friend Luke Spicknall later recorded some final overdubs and mixed the album. Get Used To It was mastered by Mike York of The Crawlspace.
