Biography
ZOO, also known as Zoo Posse, is a Valencian music group born in 2014 in Gandía that focuses on rap, breakbeat, rock and ska, mixed with electronic rhythms. The lyrics of the songs deal with current political and social issues.
The group was founded in 2014 by Panxo (Toni Sánchez), ex-member of Orxata Sound System and Sophy Zoo, a rap group in Spanish and Valencian active since 2008, DJ of Riot Propaganda, and brother of Pablo Sánchez of La Raíz and Ciudad Jara.8 6 Tempestes vénen del sud was their first album, which contained Estiu, the single released in the spring of the same year and which received around a million and a half plays in a short time. In 2015 they were the headliners of the Feslloch festival, the most important Valencian music festival.
