Tim Easton (born 1966 in Akron, Ohio) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Easton formed the band Kosher Spears while at college. In the 1996 Easton joined The Haynes Boys. When they split up, Easton embarked on a solo career, with his debut album, Special 20, released in 1998. He subsequently relocated to California, signed a deal with EMI Publishing, and a record deal with New West Records. In 2007, Easton joined Leeroy Stagger and Evan Phillips, performing as Easton, Stagger and Phillips. Easton and Stagger initially performed in 2008 as support acts for Phillips' band The Whipsaws. The group released one album One For The Ditch, on Rebeltone Records, in 2008. In 2009 Easton won the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop award for 'Best Americana Song' with "Burgundy Red". His album Porcupine also won the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop vote for best Album Packaging. www.timeaston.com Read more on Last.fm.
