Biography
Originally formed in 1976 (or so): Mike, Rich, his brother Rodger (Elliott), Dave and Steve formed a garage band in Lowell, Mass. and rehearsed either in Mike's mom's basement or in a small guesthouse behind Rich/Elliott's parent's place, known the "Little Red". Brian came along a few years later, and through an "impossible to chronicle" series of band name and band member changes over the years, the guys got together again in 2001, and did some recording in Brian's office basement. After those sessions, and several others with a variety of different band members, the group have recently gotten together again (commemorating their 30th anniversary) to do another project under the name: The Groovies.
