Rockbender
Biography
Rockbender is a rock band formed in 2009 in Valencia(Spain) by Carlos Martinez on the drums and Alberto Gimeno as lead guitar. They both began rehearsing and composing some of the songs that would be his future EP. Later, in 2011 this group project begins to take shape with the union of Isidro Cabezuelo on bass, Abel Gallego singer of the band. In 2012 Carles Miquel joins as rhythm guitar to support Alberto with guitars and the complete band starts rehearsing the songs of what will be his first EP. At mid-year they start recording and mixing the songs, which in late 2012 will see the light. Influenced by legendary groups like AC / DC, Motorhead, Guns N 'Roses, ZZ Top, and current groups as Bonafide, Airbourne, Rhino Bucket, currently intend to bring that classic 80's sound. His music is simple but full of energy, simple but frantic riffs marked by a powerful bass and drums. Read more on Last.fm.
