1) PANGEA (originally Orion J9 Foundation) is a progressive metal, soundtrack, drone outfit from Mumbai, India formed in 2007. Like Deep Forest, Pangea attempts to fuse danceable polyrhythms with worldbeat textures and synthesizers. On the whole, Pangea has a stronger world music influence than Deep Forest, which means it isn't quite as accessible.
