Biography

Moebio was formed in 2006 when the vocalist and lyrics writer Héctor Gerónimo (Bone Head) and the guitarist Horacio Nistal (Bone Head) contacted with the musician and producer Jorge Escobedo (Sôber, Skizoo) Together they decide to start a new musical project with base in the city of Madrid, adding to the band the experienced drummer from Granada, José Antonio Quesada (Lagartija Nick) and after to David Mangado (Sad Man Said) and the young guitarist Antonio Carmona (Dilemma) During 2006, the band works hard creating the material for the first studio album. In January and February of 2007, Moebio start to record in Oasis recording studio (Madrid) with remarkable collaborations of artists like Belén Arjona, Romeo’s vocalist Joseph K. and guitarist Antonio Bernardini (Sôber, Skizoo), supervised by the exquisite production of Jorge Escobedo. Moebio’s sound moves between different styles inside rock, gothic and pop with elegance, emphasizing the melancholic melodies and the gentle voice of Hector Gerónimo The first album has been released on 5th November with DFX Records -a new alternative record label which is getting very good bands- obtaining a good reception.
