1. MiM is Japanese charity project for Save the Children, produced by Makai. So far they have released 3 albums. 2. Mim is based in Warsaw polish techno / electronica producer known from collaborations with Legoego, Telescope, Enypnion and S!te Rec netlabels. 3. Mim is also a project of Eva Leiz, a part of an intense and soulful construction that she represents and of its diversity. Her music bares reference to many influences: from electronic music to bossa nova, from androgynous tunes to Latin music; painting screens, spotting paper, all the arts are condensed onto music and do reproduce impressions and emotions about life. It can be named deviant pop. The singer, guitarist and composer has come from the punk band Polux, which has garnered some attention at the Carioca underground scene some years ago. Mim debuted in 2002, releasing a demo EP. It was produced by 3 known names on the Brazilian contemporaneous music scene: Marcos Cunha, from the project “Marcos Cunha & Antonio Saraiva”, Victor Z and Jr Tostoi from the Carioca band Vulgue Tostoi. Mim has been garnering a good response from music lovers in Rio de Janeiro and from media people all over Brazil, which did open the doors for live performances at respected events in Brazil, such as Humaitá Pra Peixe (RJ), Com:tradição Festival (SP), Rock de Saia, Green Rock Festival (MG), sharing the stage with very well-known names on the national scene: Ira, Nação Zumbi, Tia Anastácia, Elza Soares, Rebeca Matta, Lucas Santtana, Leela and Vulgue Tostoi.
