Mike Lindsay is a British musician, songwriter and singer, best known for being the co-founder, frontman, composer and producer of British acid folk band, Tunng. Releasing five albums worldwide since 2005, Tunng are pioneers of the 'folktronica' genre, defining a sound of the scene that went on to inspire the nu folk/acid folk movement through out the early 2000s. Lindsay released a solo album under the moniker Cheek Mountain Thief, which was composed and produced in Iceland with local musicians. He produced and co-wrote songs for artists such as Speech Debelle and produced albums for Farao, Low Roar, Serafina Steer, Hannah Peel, Cibelle, Laura J Martin. He also scored the critically acclaimed feature documentary 'Mission to Lars'. In 2018 Lindsay formed a critically acclaimed duo with singer-songwriter Laura Marling: LUMP.
