Biography

Born in Madrid in 1971. Guitarist and composer. Son of guitarist and dancer Pepe Habichuela Child Amparo had art in the cradle. Josemi learned to speak and play virtually the same time. With only three years added first grabbed a guitar, with nine touched debut on stage at the Café Silverio, with twelve played in the World Guitar Festival on the island of Martinique, was part alongside his father's show pure Flamenco in America where very important flamenco artists participated as Farruco, Fernanda de Utrera, Güito and Chocolate among others. At fourteen he joined Ketama, filling the gap left Ray Heredia. Ketama's story is already part of the history of music in Spain. Undoubtedly, one of the most influential and revolutionary formations that have existed in our music scene. Authentic inventors of a new sound imitated by many undisputed leaders called "Nuevo Flamenco", the group of Juan Antonio and José Miguel Carmona original recorded 11 albums and 3 compilations, paraded their music around the world and showed that flamenco can fellowship with the Jazz, with sauce, with bossanova, with the rai ...Mandinga up with the music! We endorse the more than one million albums sold throughout his career. Alongside his career with Ketama, Jose Miguel Carmona has continued to collaborate on many albums (Paco de Lucia, Miguel Bose, Rosario, Alejandro Sanz, Nitin Sawhney, Jorge Pardo etc.) And produced records to Niña Pastori, barbershop South Etc.
