Franco Luciani is one of the most remarkable and talented musicians of the new litter of cultors of the Argentine popular music. He was born in the city of Rosario in 1981, and studied in the University of Rosario (Superior School of Music) and in the Provincial School of Music of the same city. He resides at the moment in the city of Buenos Aires. Although his academic formation in the two institutions was based on percussion and drums, his professional career is based in the interpretation of the harmonica in all its versions but preponderantly the chromatic one. He has become an outstanding interpreter of Argentine music, rural as much as urban (folklore-tango). In 2002,he won the contest Pre Cosquín, in the Solo Instrument heading and soon he was awarded with the Prize Revelation Cosquín 2002.
